Win a Ten-day intensive English-teaching methodology course in Malta from August 17-26 2010.

This competition is open to English teachers working in adult education for the CVO in Flanders and Promotion Sociale in the French Community in Belgium.

Le Centre d’Animation en Langues asbl – Het Animatiecentrum voor Talen vzw is very proud to announce an exceptional teacher training opportunity open to all teachers of English working in adult education with the CVO in Flanders and Enseignement de Promotion Sociale in the French Community.

The prize of a ten-day intensive English-teaching methodology course at the prestigious NSTS English Language Institute in Malta from August 17 – 26 2010 will be offered to 8 lucky winners of our easy-to-enter competition.

This methodology course is aimed at in-service non-native teachers of English possessing varying degrees of experience who would like to revitalise their teaching and experiment with practical and effective techniques in the teaching of English to adults.

The prize includes return flights from Brussels to Malta, self-catering accommodation (i.e. with access to a kitchen) at the NSTS English Language Institute Residence and of course enrolment and participation in the teaching methodology course.

Entry to the competition is simple and interesting:

1. Motivate your entry by telling us why you would like to participate in this methodology course, and how you would plan on sharing the new teaching techniques and ideas with your fellow teachers upon your return to Belgium.
   
   
2. Propose an idea of how to use the resources of the Animatiecentrum voor Talen vzw - Centre d’Animation en Langues asbl in the creation of a teaching tool or resource for (or by) your students. Our association has the following resources to offer you:
   - Graphic design team (including high-quality printing)
   - Editorial office and magazine publication team (including high-quality printing)
   - Audio recording studio with technicians (including editing and production)
   - Mobile audio-visual filming unit with technicians (including editing and production)

Both your motivation and your teaching resource idea will be evaluated in equal measure by a jury made up of members of the pedagogical, project and editorial teams internal to our association. The eight best entries will be selected as the lucky winners of the teaching methodology course in Malta and will also have their teaching resource idea created by our team. Runners-up prizes of free subscriptions to our language learning magazine and audio resources will be also be offered.

The deadline for entries is March 14 2010 and winners will be announced on March 17 2010.
